FTP

You can add your FTP server as a datasource in PixelBin. This allows you to use PixelBin's real-time file delivery and transformation features on all existing files stored on the server.

Configure Datasource

1. After entering basic details for the datasource, choose FTP from the set of datasource types.
2. Enter the host and port over which the FTP server can be accessed.
3. Optionally, if your FTP server is protected, you can pass the credentials of an authorized user.
4. Click Save.

note

We do not start copying files from your storage as soon as you add the datasource. Instead, we will fetch the particular file when you request it through the PixelBin URL endpoint. The files accessed from this origin will not appear in your Storage library.
