Rename File

Any file that has been uploaded to the PixelBin Storage can be renamed by the user.

To rename a single file:

1. Click on the vertical ellipsis icon of the specific file that needs to be renamed.

2. Click on the Rename button to open the rename dialog form.

3. Enter the new file name and click on the Save button to permanently rename the file.

Some special characters in the file/folder name will be replaced with _. Refer to the Naming Conventions page.

Old CDN URLs will stop working

When you rename a file, the CDN URL also changes, which means the old URL will stop working. It could be cached for a while, but it will eventually stop working.
