Image Studio

Apply precise, predictable image transformations with structured controls. Get consistent, repeatable results every time, perfect for professional workflows that require exact specifications.

What you can do:

  • Remove, generate, or enhance backgrounds with precision
  • Upscale images up to 8x resolution
  • Remove watermarks automatically or manually
  • Adjust dimensions, crop, rotate, and fine-tune properties
  • Get identical results with the same settings every time

Use Image Studio when you need predictable, professional-grade transformations without AI variation.

Quick Start

Image Studio works like a controlled editing pipeline:

  1. Upload an image
  2. Choose a specific transformation
  3. Configure explicit options
  4. Apply the change

Each transformation runs independently and applies changes directly to the selected image.

Image Studio
note

Image Studio produces fixed, repeatable results based on selected options. Running the same transformation with the same settings will produce identical output.

Background Tools

Background tools are used to separate subjects from their surroundings, replace environments, or enhance realism after background changes. These options are especially useful for product images, profile photos, and marketing assets where consistent presentation matters.

Use these tools when the subject is already correct, but the background needs improvement or replacement.

Remove Background

Removes the background while keeping the main subject intact.

To improve accuracy, select the type of foreground object:

  • General
  • E-commerce
  • Car
  • Human
  • Object
tip

Choosing the correct type helps produce cleaner edges and better subject separation.

Generate Background

Replaces the existing background using a text prompt.

  • The foreground subject is preserved
  • The prompt describes only the background scene
  • Results depend on subject clarity and contrast

This is useful when you want a new setting without altering the subject.

Add Shadows

Adds shadows to visually ground the subject.

Available shadow types:

  • Soft
  • Hard
  • Custom

For custom shadows, you can adjust:

  • Shadow intensity
  • Shadow angle
note

Shadows are generated only when a human subject is detected. Images without a detectable human will not produce shadows.

Image Enhancement

Image enhancement tools focus on improving visual quality without changing the content of the image. These options are commonly used to prepare images for larger screens, high-resolution outputs, or professional presentation.

Enhancement tools do not add new elements, they refine what already exists.

Upscale Image

Increase image resolution by:

  • 2x
  • 4x
  • 8x
note

Upscaling increases resolution while preserving existing detail. Higher scaling factors may enhance visible imperfections in the source image.

Face Enhancement

Sharpens facial details and improves perceived clarity.

This option is intended for images with visible human faces and may have limited impact on non-facial content.

Watermark Removal

Watermark removal tools help clean up unwanted text or logos from images. These are useful when working with licensed assets, legacy content, or images that need to be repurposed.

Depending on the watermark complexity, you can rely on automatic detection or manually refine the removal.

Auto

Automatically detects and removes watermarks.

After reviewing the preview, click Apply to confirm the removal.

Manual

Allows precise control when automatic removal is incomplete.

Manual options include:

  • Adjusting brush size
  • Removing text-based watermarks
  • Removing logo or graphic watermarks

Manual mode is useful for selective cleanup or complex watermark patterns.

danger

When Remove text is enabled, all text present in the image will be removed, not just watermarks.

Image-level Controls

Image-level controls allow direct adjustments to layout, framing, orientation, and basic visual properties. These controls are applied instantly and do not involve AI-based generation.

Image Studio: Image-level controls

They are commonly used to prepare an image before applying other transformations or to make final adjustments before exporting.

note

Image-level changes affect all subsequent transformations. Cropping, resizing, or rotating an image changes the input used by later tools.

Resize

Change image dimensions by specifying pixel values.

You can:

  • Set custom width and height
  • Lock the aspect ratio to preserve proportions

Crop

Adjust the visible framing of the image.

Available options include:

  • Freeform
  • Original
  • Standard aspect ratios (1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16, and more)

Predefined ratios are useful for common output formats.

Adjust

Fine-tune basic image properties:

  • Hue
  • Saturation
  • Brightness
  • Tint

These adjustments can be combined with other transformations.

Rotate

Change image orientation using:

  • Clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation
  • Horizontal or vertical flip
  • Straighten slider for minor alignment corrections

Compare

View the edited image alongside the original.

This helps verify changes before finalizing the image.

When Image Studio Works Best

Image Studio is most effective when changes are clearly defined and need to be applied consistently. It is designed for workflows where predictability and control matter more than creative variation.

Image Studio is a good fit when:

  • You need predictable, repeatable results
  • The edit can be defined through explicit controls
  • You want consistency across images

When to Use Another Tool

Some edits benefit from flexibility and creative interpretation rather than strict control. In these cases, prompt-based tools may produce better results.

Consider using a different tool when:

  • The change is hard to describe with fixed options
  • You want creative or exploratory edits
  • Some variation between results is acceptable

In those cases, the AI Editor may be a better choice.
