The result wasn’t satisfactory; it looked rough and unnatural, with visible smudges and background distortion. It didn’t blend the area well enough for my use case, and based on my test, I wouldn’t recommend it for high-precision or professional-grade removals, especially on complex backgrounds.

I uploaded a group photo to Pixelcut, found various options like background, retouch, expand, and upscale. I selected the retouch option, set the brush size to 39, and brushed over the person I wanted to remove.

The person was removed, but the background didn’t look natural. In my test, the results were poor with visible smudges and inconsistencies that made the work look clearly edited. I was disappointed with the output, and based on my testing, I preferred Pixelbin for clearer, more professional-looking results.

The accuracy of the process heavily depends on careful brushing, and even with this, you may still need additional manual retouching to conceal artifacts.

The process I found is slow, as compared to Pixelbin. A subscription may unlock some features and high-quality exports, which could feel restrictive if you only need removals occasionally. Picsart also offers other editing tools, like background/foreground selection, text detection, and additional AI-assisted edit options.

I tested one image in which five people were sitting together, and I removed the second person using a brush. The brush size was set to 12px, and then I clicked on the "Remove object" option. Honestly, I got a really undesirable result; it removed the person, but there are still some elements that need to be addressed.

It left clear marks and strange outlines around the edges, especially near the legs and shoulders. The edit was easy to notice even without zooming in, and it produced distorted patterns and unnatural shadows, which made the image look fake. I also tried several times, but still couldn’t get a clean result.

I tested one of my images that included five people sitting near a river and tried to remove 3 of them. The people were removed, but the background did not look natural in my test. The tool does provide zoom-in/out controls, which help with precision.
